About Language Pathways

Language Pathways was created by a speech pathologist with over 15 years of experience working with children with dyslexia and literacy challenges. Our mission is to make structured, evidence-based phonics learning fun, colourful, and accessible. Each resource is carefully designed using the principles of the Science of Reading and tested by the children it’s made for — ensuring our games are as engaging as they are effective.

For some children, learning to read can feel like a real chore. It can be challenging for parents, teachers, and tutors alike to find ways to keep them motivated and engaged. For dyslexic readers, repeated exposure to words is essential — each encounter helps them map the word into their cognitive lexicon. This process of orthographic mapping builds automatic recognition and fluency, and it can be achieved through reading books, sentences, or even single words within structured games and activities.

At Language Pathways, we regularly test our games and gather valuable feedback from young learners to make sure every product feels exciting, motivating, and enjoyable to play. By observing how children interact with our materials, we refine each design to balance structure with genuine fun. We also collaborate closely with teachers, tutors, and literacy specialists to ensure every game supports real reading progress — helping children gain confidence, skills, and a lifelong love of learning.
